Every artwork has a subtext serving a purpose that foments healing and understanding. It is always lurking at the periphery of our consciousness, waiting to be discovered through self-expression.
It is essential to channel our deepest feelings, most importantly communicating our emotions, emotional triggers and life concepts. This process evolves in a realm where time and space are not relevant.
As humans we need milestones to help us reflect, ponder & contemplate our existence providing us markers to analyze our reaction to everyday stimulus. This is an automated response hardwired in our genes.
Through my work I strive to investigate the meaning of our existence by exploring our subconscious, through a shared aesthetic experience. I seek to simplify the complexity of our human and communal experience through a simple palette of color and forms.
